飛利浦是一家專門從事科技，醫療等行業的科技公司，近日該公司對任天堂提起侵權訴訟。
這條訴訟中提出了任天堂侵犯了飛利浦兩項專利，其中包括了“Virtual Body Control Device”與“User Interface System Based on Pointing Device”，任天堂在2011年申請該專利，而飛利浦早在2009年已經申請過了。
飛利浦宣稱，Wii和Wii U的系統以及配件都是違法的，併申請三倍賠償以及對該系列產品發布禁售令。
